Carla has a special ability to bring people together and make them feel comfortable in their own skin.Whether it’s a calming word, a reassuring hug, or a spontaneous dance party, Carla is always there for our team and our patients.Her positive attitude and big smile are contagious!

Carla was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. She has Peruvian nationality and speaks fluent Spanish!  She relocated with her family to North Carolina in 2005 and attends St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Carla and her husband, Dereck, have three amazing kids, Christopher, Emily, and Collin and one Granddaughter Amelia. She also has a pup named Packer.  Carla came to NC with over 15 years of dental experience. She attended Brevard Community College and Wake Tech. Community College.  Carla enjoys a healthy lifestyle of dancing, hot yoga, and strength training.  She also enjoys eating and experiencing new cultures.  She loves spending time with her family, listening to music, and spending time at the beach or the mountains. She also is a very passionate FSU football fan. Go NOLES!  Carla enjoys meeting new patients, establishing long-lasting relationships, and helping them achieve a beautiful and healthy smile!
