Dustin Prusik, DDS

Dr. Prusik is a true native of this area having grown up just a few miles down the road in Cary, NC.  He attended Green Hope High School where he is a member of the GHHS Athletic Hall of Fame. It was there that he met his future wife, Lauren, and many other friends who currently live in Apex and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Prusik attended UNC Chapel Hill and earned a bachelor’s in biology with minors in chemistry and Spanish before moving on to dental school, also at UNC Chapel Hill. After achieving his DDS, Dr. Prusik completed an intensive residency program at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center.  During that time he received advanced training in all areas of general dentistry including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.  This residency program trained him to treat complex dental problems and manage patients with challenging medical conditions.  It was also a very rewarding experience working with veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country.

Dr. Prusik is a strong believer in community service.  He was named a Public Service Scholar during his time at UNC and has participated in many volunteer projects including the Durham Rescue Mission, the Fayetteville Care Clinic, NC Missions of Mercy, and several international volunteer trips.

Dr. Prusik is a die-hard Tar Heel fan having spent 8 years in school at Chapel Hill. In addition to cheering for UNC, he enjoys running, golfing, and traveling as much as possible. He and Lauren have two wonderful children, Penelope and Brayden, as well as an energetic, fun-loving golden retriever named Murphy. They are proud to call North Carolina home and make a point to enjoy everything this great state has to offer. Dr. Prusik and his family have attended The Summit Church for over 10 years.
